Rubber Band Racer
My rubber band racer went 192 inches.

To make I first cut a poster board rectangle for the base of my car. Then I used the poster board to cut out the shape of the car. For the wheels, I glued a small square on all 4 sides of the car, and put a tiny hole through it, so the axle can go through it. Then I got cds, to act as the wheels. I glued the 4 CDS to the 4 squares. Then for the other side of the CDS (the outside), I glued some even smaller squares so the axle would stay through the CD. I put the front and back axles through all these 3 parts. Then I glued a tooth pick to the back axle and got a hole in the base, to leave room for the toothpick to move. Finally, I glued the rubber band to the front of the base. Now the rubber band can expand to wrap around the toothpick in order for the car to move.
If I could have improved the speed and distance of my car, I would have found a solution to make my wheels less wobbly.
